Cast caught filming at a church: Wedding bells?
May 7, 2009 by Amy Bartner
SEMI-SPOILER ALERT!
The cast of “Desperate Housewives” was caught filming at Hollywood Presbyterian Church last week. We can assume that a church = wedding, yes?
From the looks of it, Mike and Orson are the only two men who are super well-dressed. Also safe to assume that Orson’s not going to get married. Jackson’s no where in sight, and neither are Susan or Katherine. So essentially, these photos don’t help up as at all in figuring out who’s getting married. Tom looks adorable in the sneaks, though, and Tony Parker came to visit his wife on the set! All together now: Aaaaawwwwww!
Dana Delany: There’ll be two proposals coming soon
April 20, 2009 by Amy Bartner
I love Dana Delany. Sure, I really don’t care for her character on the show, but I DO love that she can’t keep from spilling secrets. I’m pretty sure that she wasn’t supposed to share with E! News that both Jackson and Mike are going to propose to their respective women. Wait that’s Jackson proposing to Susan, and Katherine to Mike, in case there was any confusion (which wouldn’t be that surprising if there was, considering the histories.)
Yes, that’s right. I said Katherine proposing to Mike. She kind of alluded to the fact that Mike might not be doing the asking to Kristin Dos Santos from E! during the GLAAD Media Awards.
“Actually, the proposal is very Mike-like. That’s all I’ll say. Before you get too excited, consider this: Just because there are two proposals doesn’t necessarily mean there will be two answers of ‘yes’ to those proposals, or two weddings,” Dana said to Kristin.
I’m thinking Mike will say yes, Susan will say no?

The ‘wives come out for the 20th Annual GLAAD Media Awards
April 20, 2009 by Amy Bartner
A few of the ladies were at the 20th Annual GLAAD Media Awards on Friday, where “Desperate Housewives” picked up an award for outstanding comedy series.
Yay for the gay-friendly ‘wives!
We haven’t seen Brenda Strong and Andrea Bowen in sooooooo long. This made me realize how much I really, really missed Julie. Ugh, she look so good! I don’t even think I love the dress that much (and I certainly don’t love the shoes), but she looks good in both!
Remember Dana Delany in ‘Tombstone’?
April 12, 2009 by Amy Bartner
Every so often, I remember that one of the ‘wives or househusbands had a part in a movie/tv show that I love. I just did this with Dana Delany in “Tombstone.”
Let’s just say I went out and bought the movie shortly after I remembered she was in it. She was a desperate non-wife all the way back in 1993! Sixteen years later, and the lady’s still got it!
Some of the ‘wives attend ‘Phoebe in Wonderland’ screening
March 2, 2009 by Amy Bartner
Eva Longoria Parker, Marcia Cross and Dana Delany came out to support Felicity Huffman at the screening of her new movie, “Phoebe in Wonderland” on Sunday.
I’m not quite sure what Marcia and Dana are wearing (and haven’t we seen Eva’s shoes already? Good to know she’s like the rest of us and doesn’t wear a pair of shoes only once!) but isn’t this next photo the cutest thing you’ve ever seen? I love it when photographers catch genuine stuff like this, because it’s gotta be real. Right?
In this photo, Eva is thinking: “Man, Felicity, you really _________”

Dana Delaney: Dead doesn’t mean dead
February 27, 2009 by Amy Bartner
…say whaaat?
Dana Delaney talked to E! Online’s Marc Malkin about Nicollette Sheridan leaving the show, and Edie’s potential death. She said she knew what was going to happen, but obviously couldn’t tell him.
“You know, things change very quickly on the show,” she said. “People dead doesn’t mean dead on television.”
And she wouldn’t say anything else! What does that even mean?? I’m wondering if it’s something along the lines of Edie leaving Wisteria Lane and THEN dying?
I can’t believe how successful the Desperate Housewives writers/publicity makers have been going into sweeps!
Wait, yes I can.
Desperate economical times for ‘Desperate Housewives’, too
February 20, 2009 by Amy Bartner
Marc Cherry has been asked to cut $1 million from the ‘wives budget, reports E!’s Ted Casablanca. So that means, although Nicollette’s departure from the show has definitely been confirmed, she won’t be the only one. As for now, it’ll only be “guest stars” leaving, Ted said.
Who do you think will be desperately searchin’ for a new job? Better yet, who do you think should be desperately searchin’ for a new job?
These are my guesses: No more Lily Tomlin as one half of the Old-Lady P.I.s (though they best not be getting rid of Mrs. McCluskey…). I think we already knew this one, but this probably means Jackson/Gale Harold is gone for good. Who else? Katherine? A lass can hope, can’t she?
Gale Harold to return to Desperate Housewives after the holidays
December 15, 2008 by Amy Bartner
Good news, kids!!!
When Gale Harold, who plays Jackson on Desperate Housewives, was hurt in a motocycle accident on Oct. 14., I was panicky.
And since then, relatively little news has come out about his progress, making me even more panicky. Until now!
Gale was seen at the Kirk Douglas Theatre near L.A., to see “The Little Dog Laughed.” According to Bay Windows, Gale will “be returning to Desperate Housewives after the holiday break.”
This can only mean one thing: More drama in the soon-to-be-love-square of Susan, Jackson, Mike and Katherine!
…to which I can only say one thing: Yay!

Desperate Housewives Present at the 2008 Emmys
September 23, 2008 by Julie Bonner
The ladies of Desperate Housewives - Dana Delany, Marcia Cross, Teri Hatcher, Eva Longoria, Felicity Huffman and Nicollette Sheridan - presented at the 2008 Emmys and they looked fabulous. I watched a little bit of the Emmys, but did not see them.
Check out the Wisteria Lane women and tell me whose dress is your favorite. I thought Nicollette’s was pretty darn glamorous.

Dana Delaney - Stand Up to Cancer
September 8, 2008 by Julie Bonner
Dana Delaney attended the Stand Up to Cancer event on September 5th. She is standing by Disney/ABCs Anne Sweeney. Dana looks gorgeous in her “In Memory Of” shirt.
I love how active Dana is in our world. She attends quite a few charity events, was a participant at the Democratic National Convention and is always standing up for what she believes in.
