TV Guide is saying that we will get to see Joy Lauren back as Danielle Van de Camp on Desperate Housewives. When Matt, from TV Guide, was asked if her had any other DH scoop to share, this is what he said:

“Matt: I almost forgot that I had gleaned this from my TCA party talk with exec producer Bob Daily (I blame my third Cape Cod…), but now here it is: Bree won’t make do with just one kid for long. We will see Joy Lauren back as Danielle Van De Camp very soon — and not in flashback.”

This is good news to me! I hate to see Joy Lauren not come back on Desperate Housewives. She does such a great job playing Bree’s daughter.

Joy Lauren was also at the 22nd Annual Genesis Awards. Here are pictures of her from the event in a very pretty green dress.

Actress Joy Lauren is worlds apart from her character on ABC’s Desperate Housewives, so when she found that she was going to be in the center of the show’s teen pregnancy storyline, she knew she would be facing a tremendous challenge.

“[It was] definitely something I’ve never experienced before — I’m not really angst-ridden and I’m not pregnant — so it was definitely a stretch for me to play!” Lauren, who portrays Bree Hodge’s (Marcia Cross) notorious daughter Danielle, told TV Guide.  Read the rest here.
