Kyle MacLachlan to leave the show??
June 12, 2009 by Amy Bartner

Kyle MacLachlan says he’s planning to leave “Desperate Housewives” because the commute from home (New York) to Wisteria Lane (L.A.) is too much for him, now that he’s a family man.
He and his wife, Desiree Gruber, and their baby Callum (who’ll be a year old in July) are his top priority — as they should be.
“It’s getting more difficult going back and forth,” MacLachlan said. “I’ll do the next series and see how it goes.”
“It’s such a huge change having children. It’s not about me any more - it’s about my family.”
Wonder what that’ll mean for Orson? His character’s becoming more obsolete with the divorce/Bree’s new affair with Karl.
He also said he wants more children.
“Callum is an absolute joy,” he said. “We’re going to try for another so they can fight each other!”

Cast caught filming at a church: Wedding bells?
May 7, 2009 by Amy Bartner
SEMI-SPOILER ALERT!
The cast of “Desperate Housewives” was caught filming at Hollywood Presbyterian Church last week. We can assume that a church = wedding, yes?
From the looks of it, Mike and Orson are the only two men who are super well-dressed. Also safe to assume that Orson’s not going to get married. Jackson’s no where in sight, and neither are Susan or Katherine. So essentially, these photos don’t help up as at all in figuring out who’s getting married. Tom looks adorable in the sneaks, though, and Tony Parker came to visit his wife on the set! All together now: Aaaaawwwwww!
Kyle MacLachlan golfs to fight cancer
December 14, 2008 by Amy Bartner
Orson might have tried to kill Mike on the show, but his real-life counterpart is using his power to help others.
Kyle MacLachlan, along with other celebrities and pro-golfers, will play in Callaway Golf Foundation’s Annual Pro-Celebrity Tournament on Monday, USA TODAY reports.
All the proceeds from the event go to the Entertainment Industry Foundation, which supports research for new prevention tests and therapies for breast, colon, prostate and ovarian cancers.
“As someone whose family has been personally touched by cancer, I felt it was important to get involved to raise awareness of ovarian cancer,” Kyle said. “Most people don’t think about ovarian cancer until someone in their family has it, and, by then, it’s often too late. One of the goals is to get ovarian cancer on people’s radar.”
Marcia Cross on the Set of Desperate Housewives
August 14, 2008 by Julie Bonner
We have some new pictures of Marcia Cross on the set of Desperate Housewives! Marcia’s character Bree Hodge is looking fierce isn’t she? WOW!
The pictures seem to be from a park bench scene with Bree and Orson. You can see them talking and even kissing in one of the pictures. The spoilers said these two would get back together and that we will find out why she took him back fairly early in the season. I am excited to see these two back together.
Check out the rest of these great pictures below. Read more

“The Game”
“In Buddy’s Eyes”
“Now You Know”
“Something’s Coming”
What do you think about their decisions? I do think that Eva Longoria was terrific in the episode “In Buddy’s Eyes“. That episode just showed a classic Gabby scenario. It also seems like Gary Cole could have a decent shot at winning an Emmy. I don’t know who his competition is yet, but he played such a great villain in the few episodes he was in. He was so good, in fact, that I might keep my distance if I ran into him. lol.
I know it was a hard season for both the writers and actors, but I think season 4 was great. Do you think Desperate Housewives has a shot at an Emmy this year?

Isn’t this a cute picture of Desperate Housewives star Kyle MacLachlan? Kyle, his wife and their pooch attended the Hamptons magazine annual kick off summer party on Memorial Day. He’s showing off his adorable dog in this picture and I love the added effect of the bunny ears.

Desperate Housewives The Musical?
March 4, 2008 by Julie Bonner
What do you think about Desperate Housewives: The Musical? Would you go see it? It sounds interesting and it may be a possibility.
It’s been said that Desperate Housewives creator, Marc Cherry, dropped some hints to the cast about show being turned into a Broadway musical.
Kyle MacLachlan, who plays Bree’s husband Orson, said, “I think it is a great idea. It makes sense. Mark has said that when he finishes his seven years at ABC he plans to go to Broadway and move into the musical world so maybe he does have some designs in that way. That’s all he’s said so far.”
I love musicals.
