This interview with Parade magazine is so unbelievably adorable.

Here’s what William H. Macy had to say about his wife being part of a gorgeous cast of women:

“The others are sort of model beautiful women and Felicity is not a model type. But I think she’s the sexiest on that show. What is sexy? It’s hard to put it into words. The way she carries herself. And she keeps in really great shape. She’s got the kind of body that makes me melt. She’s cut. She’s strong and lithe and capable. I love that.”

A couple like this is hard to find anywhere — let alone in Hollywood.

Think this is where he got the cherries for some of the Desperate Housewives story lines? The ‘wives are all kinda like (slightly) younger versions of the Golden Girls, anyway, aren’t they?

Also, interesting that he doesn’t drink — which I’m all for, though it also seems surprising, given the fact that there’s at least one character with a drink in every episode (or completely smashed, or a complete alcoholic, etc, etc, etc…)

Also, also, doesn’t he seem like the funnestest person ever made? I really, really want to hang out at a party with Marc and help him hide his gin and tonics from Bea Arthur.

Tuesday, October 28th (that’s today!), one of my all-time favorite Desperate Housewives stars James Denton, will be on the Bonnie Hunt show. You can check www.bonniehunt.com for syndicated/local listing.

James wasn’t in this last episode and I wasn’t too happy about that. Hopefully he will give us some DH scoop today and let us know how much we will be seeing him on the show.

Does anyone think that him and Susan will get back together? I still have hopes.

Is this a collector’s edition cover for Desperate Housewives fans or what?!? For the first time since season 1 of DH, the Wisteria Lane ladies have posed all together for a magazine shoot. What’s up with that?

You can get your hands on this TV Guide issue on stands, Thursday, September 25th.

Marc Cherry spoke up again in this issue about the 5 year flash forward and gave credit where credit is due. He says, “The idea for the five-year jump on Desperate Housewives really came from the executive producers of Lost. I’m actually doing something unheard of in Hollywood .  I’m giving credit where credit is due.” Well, isn’t that the truth!

Eva Longoria Parker was on the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson on September 4th. She was there to promote the ALMA Awards, which air on ABC September 12th. Although, I don’t believe they talked much about the awards.

Craig did find out how much her Valentino shoes cost because she left the price tag on the bottom! His jaw dropped when she showed him. He also said that she should get an Emmy just for being adorable. I agree!

Eva Longoria taped a segment on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson and it is airing tonight, September 5th. I am not sure if she will be just promoting the ALMA Awards or if she will talk season 5 of Desperate Housewives too.

Hopefully it won’t be as strange as her Jay Leno interview. I guess as long as Russell Brand isn’t there it should be alright. I can’t handle another interview about him peeing on her.

What a good man Ricardo Chavira is. In the September 1st issue of TV Guide, which hits the newsstands Thursday, August 28th, he questions the overweight plot which involves his two TV daughters.

Chavira grew up with an older sister who battled the weight issue, so he has mixed feeling about the whole story line involving two young girls. He asked, “Seeing it in my family and [considering] the childhood-obesity issues in the United States right now, should we be making fun of it?”

DH creator Marc Cherry has said that he is taking every step to protect the young actresses. He says that he even makes sure that they are not at any ‘table reads’ to hear any of those fat references.

“In the season opener, we examine Gaby’s growing realization that her children may be beyond ‘baby fat’ and her difficulty in addressing the problem with a husband who’s blind,” Cherry explains.

Interesting. How do you feel about two young girls who have been cast to play the “over weight” daughters of Carlos and Gaby? Can they really be protected enough?

Also, here’s a little spoiler:Carlos’ battle with Gaby over this issue has made his beard go gray, but he’ll relieve tension working as a massage therapist. The return of his sight later in the season will inspire profound changes in the couple. Hint: They might require the services of Nip/Tuck’s doctors.

ET was there to see the “Band From TV” practice for their upcoming gig. They also just had to ask Teri Hatcher about her new man on season 5 of Desperate Housewives. We also get to see and hear from DH hottie (one of my favorite charcters!!) James Denton.

MaximoTV was at the 2008 ALMA Awards and caught up with Eva Longoria and husband NBA star Tony Parker. They wanted to ask some gossipy questions but were only allowed to ask two questions about the ALMA awards. Bummer! That’s no fun.

ABC.com gives us a sneak peek at some red carpet interviews with some of the cast of Desperate Housewives. Nicollette Sheridan, Felicity Huffman and Dana Delaney give us a slight glimpse of what is to come in season 5 on the always dramatic Wisteria Lane.
