Cold Scene Cut from Desperate Housewives
I think I can guess why the producers of Desperate Housewives decided to cut the following scene from November 27th episode of the show:
“What we didn’t see,” he revealed, “was we had shot it and Marcia Cross actually put her finger on my pulse and waited until she realized there was no pulse and they cut that.” from Get Desperate
I think for Bree (Marcia Cross) to actually check his pulse makes her seem extremely cruel. I also think that not having her feel his pulse made some viewers (myself shamefully included) suspect that George (Roger Bart) might not actually be dead. If this were a day time soap, we might see George coming back, but sadly, unless George suddenly has a twin nobody knew about, that’s the last we’ll be seeing of Roger Bart’s creepy character.
