Dana Delany to Replace Nicollette Sheridan on Desperate Housewives?
I still haven’t heard any news about whether or not Nicollette Sheridan will be back next season on Desperate Housewives but rumor has it we might see Dana Delany in her place:
Two-time Emmy winner Dana Delany is in talks to join the cast of Desperate Housewives next season, playing a fellow wife who moves to the neighborhood with her daughter and much younger husband in tow.
You might remember Dana from her roles on Law & Order: SVU, The L-Word and Battlestar Galactica.

I heard on a forum (www.the-addicted.net/forum) that they read on Ask Ausiello @ Tvguide.. that Nicolette Sheridan wasn’t leaving the show.. and I think that Dana Delay may play this character:
”06/16 A new character (possibly a regular or a recurring since they seem to be doing a national casting call) will be Katherine, a new Wisteria Lane housewife. Katherine shares a lot of similarities with Bree. For example, both women haven’t served store-bought croutons in years! Bree gets mad when Katherine claims one of Bree’s recipe is from a book. And she gets furious when Katherine claims that Bree and Danielle don’t have a good mother/daughter bond and when she acts condescendant telling that Bree must be so proud of her employee-of-the-month-at-a-pizzeria son. ”
^Her husband is a doctor.. and she lived on Wisteria Lane before.. ’cause there’s something about Julie and the daugther of her, that they were friends when they were younger.. so.. :)

Dana Delany is to play ‘Katherine’ a Bree like housewife. Nicolette Sheridan is coming back as herslef but there will be repercussions from the suicide attempt!

No, that is not true. if you go to spoilerfix.com and click on desperate house wives you´ll see that they already say thar nicholette is returning to our beloved show (thank god!)
dana is going to be a bree-like housewive, whose husband is susan´s gineacologist (i think i spelled that wrong…!)
