Death and Character Changes on Desperate Housewives
So last episode we said goodbye to two characters on Desperate Housewives.

Nora Huntington played by Kiersten Warren
and

Carolyn Bigsby played by Laurie Metcalfe
I’m not sure who I’m going to miss more. Both were annoying characters but great actresses and their storylines were fun. Remember Kiersten from her days on Save By The Bell: The College Years?
Laurie Metcalfe is a Veteran comedian from her days as Jackie on Roseanne.
Do you think the show should have gotten rid of two VERY funny and talented actresses in one swoop?
Is there another DH character you would have rather seen die?
To be perfectly honest I wouldn’t mind seeing Edie leave the show. I really don’t like her and what she’s doing to poor Susan!

But Edie Britt adds zest to the show! Personally, I can’t imagine Housewives without any of the actresses. I missed Nora, especially after the way she died. But maybe, they can get rid of Orson

I think it’s becoming a new trend to “kill off” stronger roles as much as it has been the convention to “kill off” the lesser characters in popular programming. Look at how many people have died in the last 2.5 seasons? They’re getting rid of the good and the bad. I think this is a sacrifice writers and producers make in order to keep their audience captivated and emotionally invested.

I really miss Nora she was the best character, I just wish she was in it longer. But I really loved Bang makes me cry every time.

Since the season started, how many people have died on Wisteria Lane? With its track record I don’t think that I would want to move there. It’s sort of like visiting Cabot Cove…someone will leave feet first every week.

Wisteria lane is a very intersting place to live in…I wish more and more people would die so that Desperate housewives would not just be a T.V series but actually a SERIAL KILLER.
