Another great Desperate Housewives episode!! Here is my recap for episode 4×13 “Hello, Little Girl”.

Katherine:

Katherine blackmailed Bree into starting their own business. She knows exactly what to say to hit that touchy point with Bree. It seems that Dylan and Katherine are getting closer, although that may change very soon. Katherine was wondering why Dylan was being so nice and said she has grown up into a lovely young lady while she wasn’t looking.

It looks like Katherine will be in for a few surprises now that Dylan has met her father, or so we think it’s her father.

Dylan:

Dylan was pulled over by a creepy police man who said she was speeding and she insisted she wasn’t. He didn’t give her a ticket, but instead gave her a warning. He later approached Dylan in the park and creeped her out quite a bit until he told her that he was her father. They sat down to talk and Dylan’s father said he knew this wasn’t a good idea and started to get up and walk out of the restaurant. Dylan stopped him and said that they could meet without telling Katherine, and he agreed. He later picked her up for their first secret meeting and as they were driving off, he saw Katherine through the window. Something is off about this man and I don’t know what it is. Dylan seems like a very happy girl now that her father has come back into her life.

The rest of the recap is below the cut.

Julie:

Julie approached Mike and told him what Orson had said to her while he was sleepwalking. She said it was probably nothing but wanted to tell him anyway.

Mike and Orson:

Mike approached Orson and asked him “Are you the one who ran me over?” Orson broke down in tears and admitted what he had done.

Later that night as Mike and Susan were getting ready for bed, he told her that Orson was the one who ran him over and he asked that she please let him handle this his way. Well, we all knew how that would end up.

Susan:

Susan immediately went over to Orson’s and Bree’s and started yelling at him about what he had done. Bree was completely confused and had no idea what was going on. She looked devastated.

Later, Susan was sitting on her porch and as Mike walked up, she said they had to move because she could not walk out of her house everyday and see Orson. Mike said that he has done a lot in his passed that Susan has forgiven him for and he said that he has forgiven Orson, that he had to. He asked Susan to try to forgive him, but he understood if she couldn’t.

Susan went over to Bree’s house and Bree was working in her garden. Susan told Bree that she wanted her to know that she was going to have a very hard time with this but that she was going to try her best to work through things. She wanted Bree to know that even if she doesn’t smile as her and Orson walk by or come over for coffee that she still loves Bree.

Bree and Orson:

As Susan was talking, Orson came out of the house with a suitcase in hand, got in his car and left. Bree said she appreciated what Susan was trying to do, but to Bree, there are some things that are unforgivable.

Gabby and Carlos:

Gabby started off having a real hard time with the new guide dog in the house. The dog growled at Gabby every time she hit or yelled at Carlos. Carlos said that she doesn’t like it when Gabby does that. Gabby comes to bed only to find the dog there. She says, “No way, get her out of here!” Carlos insist it’s important for boding reason and the dog can sleep at the foot of the bed. Gabby says it’s me or the dog. Carlos covers the dog with the blanket and makes his choice. Gabby leaves disgusted.

The next morning she comes in and lures the dog away with a treat. She loads the dog into the car and takes her back to the trainer. The trainer is confused and as Gabby is driving off, the dog breaks loose and follows her back home. She comes in the house and tells Carlos that the dog has run away and she has been looking everywhere for her. We then see the dog peering through the window and Carlos hears her bark. Gabby tells him that’s just a dog down the street.

Gabby goes outside to try to get the dog back in the car and the dog won’t budge. Carlos comes out and tells Gabby that he just got a call from the trainer and that he knows what she did.

Later, Edie comes over to bring some dog treats. Carlos called her because he knew Gabby wouldn’t do it. Edie tells Gabby that she better start treating Carlos better. She says that it may look like how Gabby treats him doesn’t hurt him and that he is a man full of pride who is hiding the hurt. She tells Gabby that if she doesn’t start treating him better, that she knows, as she has proven, that there are a line of women who would take Carlos in a heart beat.

As the show is ending we see Carlos, Gabby and the dog lying in bed together and Gabby actually pets the dog. It appears things are getting better for the Solis family.

Recap questions:

  • Do you believe that is really Dylan’s father?
  • Do you think Bree will take Orson back?
  • Susan looks like she is about to pop, when do you think she’ll have her baby?
  • Will Dylan and her father continue to sneak around?
  • Will Gabby and Carlos’ relationship continue to get better?
  • Will Bree and Katherine’s business be good or bad for their relationship?

    Hey hey (;
    Hello, again!
    Nice recap!

I really liked the Katherine part :D

    I think that this episode was not as good as 4×12 - which I just adore;
    but it was ‘okay’.
Gabby was fun to watch - hysterical something; that woman :D
I loved the way Kathy “convinced” Bree:
    B: “That’s shameless emotional blackmail!!!”
    K: “Aaaaaand…?!”
B: “And …. you work beautifully; I’m in!”
    [was it “work” or what?]
    LMAO :D

    Read you soon; ;)

    Hi!
I really enjoyed the scene when Gabby told the trainer that they bought a monkey instead of the dog - hilarious!
I really couldn´t stand it, if everything would turn out quite normal and well for Orson. At the beginning he was such an evil character and this can´t get out of my mind. They just can´t change a character from that into a kind of angel …
nevertheless, Bree problably will take him back- but I don´t hope so! I would just be UNREALISTIC! From the sneak peeks of ABC we get a hint that Edie is taking Orson and that he stays at her place. Obviously this his to do with the EVIL thing Edie does at the end of the season. I really don´t wanna loose Edie, Orson coul go!
Susan´s just a straight person to believe in, everyone would react like her (or Bree)! I really couldn´t understand Mike´s reaction! You see, the whole Orson-thing makes me a bit mad … ;-)

What do you all think about that? It would be a terrible loss if Edie had to leave the show! We almost lost her at the end of the last season ;-)
