Susan, Bree and Edie are trying to help calm Lynette down. She’s worried because she can’t hear her kids screaming. Edie thinks Susan is being too hopeful that they’ll be still alive. Edie thinks there’s no chance that they’re alive. Mrs. McCluskey suggests they all pray. A few seconds later Penny is found alive. Then Parker and the rest of the kids. They all hold their breath for Tom who comes out alive. The crown cheers and Tom hugs Lynette. Mrs McCluskey asks Tom where Ida is. She didn’t make it. Edie holds Mrs. McCluskey’s hand to comfort her.
Katherine and Adam are asked to ID Sylvia’s body since she had their address in her pocket. Adam says I guess we can put this behind us. Katherine won’t have it though and tells him to move out.
Three days later Lynette and Mrs. McCluskey were cleaning Ida’s house out. Karen tells Lynette that she was a professional baseball player back in her day. Parker comes to help out. He says he wants to do something nice for Mrs Greenberg because she saved his life. She had the kids all go under the stairs to keep safe when the house started shaking. There wasn’t enough room for Ida.
The Van De Kamps are staying with Susan because their house has been totaled. Julie’s upset and doesn’t want them to stay. She tells her to be strong or they’ll want to stay longer.
At Victor’s funeral Milton, Victor’s Dad comes to sit next to her. He tells her that the reading of the will is today. He tells her that she’s not getting a dime. He kicks her out of the service telling her that if she doesn’t go he’ll tell everyone there that she’s a cheating lying whore. She walks out crying as everyone stares.
Bree brings muffins over to Bob and Lee to thank them for introducing her to Walter the contractor. He says he can’t fix her house because of personal reasons. She finds out his boyfriend cheated on him and left him. She decides she’s going to set him up with someone to help him get over it.
Susan comes home holding a bunch of groceries… to a completely redecorated house. Bree also baked for them and did their laundry. Susan says this replaces her birth as the best day of her life.
Bree tells her that her that she’s throwing a dinner party the next night.
Gaby goes to visit Carlos at the hospital. She tells him she’s not getting a penny. He says well it’s good you hooked up with another rich guy. Gabrielle shows up at Al the contractor’s house. Apparently he died in the tornado.
Ida’s family has come to get her stuff. They don’t care that Ida wanted her ashes to be spread at the field. Lynette tells them that she’ll do it for them. They say she’s not family and has no right to tell them what to do. Lynette goes in to get Ida’s ashes and switches them with dust from the vacuum.
Gabrielle tells Al’s wife how she’s devastated. Gaby asks how it happened. Apparently he died when he ran into a downed power line. Gaby manages to find out where his files from his office were taken and then heads to the garage to sift through them trying to find out information about Carlos’ account. She ends up accidentally opening up the garage door as they’re putting Al’s casket into the hearse.
Susan and Julie are excited about the food Bree’s made for them. Bree and Orson have invited the contractor over to set up with ANDREW! EEEWW! Way to pimp out their son.
Adam tells Dylan that he’s moving out and she’s really upset. She asks why does she always have to win? Dylan grabs socks from him and throws them under the bad as she walks out. Adam reaches under the bed to grab them when he finds a note. It must be the note Aunt M wrote.
Orson and Bree are being creepy trying to get them to hook up. Andrew asks his mom to come to the kitchen so he can talk to her. She tells him that he’s her only hope to get back into her house. He agrees to flirt and flatter him in exchange a flat screen TV. Bree agrees and says that if he comes in under budget she’ll throw in surround sound. Julie overhears and tells her mom. She decides she’s got to stop it so Bree won’t leave.
Susan comes down and joins them on the couch. She starts bringing up his ex boyfriend Justin and how young and attractive he was. Bree and Orson yes Justin was young but now Andrew is ready for more mature men like Walter. Susan says oh this is a fix-up and digs in about how different they are in age and how Walter’s friends will think he’s paying Andrew. Walter agrees and tells them he should be going. Although he’d love to parade Andrew around in a tank top in front of his ex he’s just not ready to date. He leaves and Bree runs after him. Susan gets up to bring the pie up to Julie when Bree pokes her head back in and says "Susan, sit!". She’s pissed.
Lynette and Karen McCluskey show up at the baseball diamond to scatter Ida’s ashes. Ida asks if anyone is meeting them there, but apparently the guy in charge said that they weren’t allowed to rest Ida in peace there so they have to do it secretly. Ida asks how they’re getting in. Lynette shows her the wire cutters.
Bree comes back in and tells Andrew and Orson to leave her alone with Susan. Susan apologizes for ruining things for her but tells her that she’s only sane because of Bree being there because of her husband being in rehab. Bree says this is the kind of situation that can benefit from chocolate chip cookies. Susan asks for milk too.
Ida recites a poem as she and Lynette lay Ida to rest. Karen can’t remember which base Ida played and the cops show up. They make a run for it as Lynette runs around spreading the ashes. Lynette gets caught but was done spreading the ashes.
Gabrielle visits Carlos in the hospital and tells him about how Al’s wife shredded all papers from offshore accounts. She was protecting Al. Carlos says so we’re broke. Gaby says yeah but at least we have each other. She says they’ll get married again and everything will be fine. He takes her hand and says in sickness and in health. They kiss and Gaby leaves to get them some ginger ale. The doctor tells Carlos that he shouldn’t be scared. Gaby won’t leave him just because he lost his sight. He says, you don’t know Gaby.
Lynette comes home with Karen McCluskey and she says she doesn’t feel better because it wasn’t enough. She wants to do something more for Ida to thank her for saving her kids.
Katherine comes home to find Adam sitting by the fire. He says he’s not leaving because she asked him to but because he knows about her secrets. He hands her the note. She rips it up and throws it into the fire. Dylan comes downstairs wondering what’s going on.
Seven days after the Tornado hit Dylan digs in the fireplace to get the pieces of the note and looks shocked to find out her mom’s secret.
