Desperate Housewives in Israel?
Check out this picture of Teri Hatcher on the set of Desperate Housewives. There’s a Hebrew paper (Yediyot Achronot) behind her and the shop looks like an Israeli shop. I wonder how Susan being in Israel will tie in to the plot this season???
Maybe this has something to do with that?
Word from series creator Marc Cherry that a November storyline will involve a ”huge hostage situation in a supermarket,” that Lynette and several other primary characters will be present, that one character will be wounded, and that one lead will be killed. Via Spoilerfix
Maybe the hostage situation is terrorism in Israel? Although I find that hard to believe that the Desperate Housewives would ALL go to Israel.
Anyway, here are more pictures from the set that day. The one with Susan’s arms out looks like a hostage kind of situation…Any ideas?
Regardless of the confusing plot twists, Teri Hatcher looks amazing in these pictures! I love her dress!

that’s not israel… not w/english on the door like that. chances are it’s just a shop in LA that sells israeli newspapers.

hmm…good point…althought this is on the set of DH…and it looks like the newspaper is there in the shot on purpose…I’ve never been to LA so I wasn’t aware that they sold Israeli newspapers…and I saw the english on the door, but I figure that that would be cut out of the scene…I know they aren’t ACTUALLY shooting in Israel, just thought they took an LA store and tried to make it look like Israel?
I could be totally off though and it coul all just be some weird coincidence. But it would be cool if there was an Israel/DH connection!

True! I don’t think that the housewives would go to Israel to shoot a hostage scene, cause then they will be stereotyping per se. And how are they going to weave in a trip to Israel in the plot?
