Desperate Housewives Possible Storylines
Since so much time has passed since the January 7th episode of Desperate Housewives, some of the past rumored storylines will be dropped. According to Brenda Strong, who does the voice for Mary-Alice Young, the writers will accelerate the story line.
I am also hearing that the next episode will air April 13th. I am not sure of the validity of this date.
Here is what we are hearing about the show:
- Mike Delfino was supposed to have met a woman in rehab, who relates to his problem and they form some kind of bond. Instead of this story line, the writer’s may focus on Mike returning to Wisteria Lane where he may finally find out that Orson was the driver who tried to run him over in the season 2 finale.
- Orson originally was supposed to be the villain, seduce Bree and take all of her money. Some mysterious woman he met at Bree’s clinic was supposed to be his accomplice. Well, the viewers of DH like Orson so much that they have possibly decided to make his mother the only villain instead of Orson.
Whatever the storyline may hold, Strong promises that the next episodes will be full of juicy developments and they they will all be jammed packed into the next 7 episodes. The writers want to make up for lost time and start fresh in season 5.
So, here are some questions to answer according to what’s being heard about the show from Televisionista:
- Will Bree find a job?
- How will Gaby handle being poor and Carlos being blind?
- What is that darn secret Katherine is hiding? Will we and her husband find out?
- How will Mike and Susan’s relationship be once she gives birth to their child?

I’ve always wanterd to know about that weird woman in the hospital Bree was staying at.. they made such a point about her and never brought it up again.
Explains it if they changed the storyline.

It really makes sense that Orson and that random lady from the clinic might have been trying to scam Bree, but after Benjamin’s birth and such, they finally seem to be a family, so it would make sense for her character to be dropped, and for Orson and Bree to be okay, for now at least.
I really don’t think anything much could happen with Mike and any other women, he and Susan have such a connection, and a baby on the way, it would ruin everything. It may be a thing like a friendship, but nothing to big.
On Katherine’s secret, it must have something to do with Dillon and the room at the top of the stairs. When Lilian and Katherine were talking in the room and Lily said something about telling Dillon about what happened in that room to her, and the way Katherine reacted, well it must be a huge issue. Julie said so herself, Dillon is not the same girl who lived there before.
I have heard that the episode will be on April 6th 2008 on ABC and that they will resume filming on February 28th. Hope that helps, and can’t wait to see it. The title is still TBA.

@Mark - I wondered that same thing. I thought she was going to enter the story line somehow.
@Morgan - Thanks Morgan. I can’t wait to hear about Katherine’s secret. I hate it that we have to wait until April 6th for a new episode, but it’s better than nothing.
