Desperate’s ratings are soaring with it’s sister show Grey’s Anatomy to make Sunday a great TV night:
LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - ABC’s “Desperate Housewives” reeled in its largest audience in six weeks while “Grey’s Anatomy” hit a season high to push ABC to an easy victory on another busy Sunday in primetime.“Housewives” popped at 9 p.m. to finish out the night with an averageof 26.5 million viewers and 11.1 rating/24 share in the adults 18-49demographic. “Grey’s Anatomy” (20.7 million, 9.1/21) rose toseason-high ratings in the 10 p.m. hour.Those drama dynamos, coupled with 7 p.m.’s “America’s Funniest Home Videos” (9.6 million, 3.1/8) and 8 p.m.’s “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” (17.1 million, 6.8/16) allowed ABC to top the nightly averages of CBS and NBC combined in adults 18-49. from Reuters/Hollywood Reporter
