Episode 14 Season 3 Thoughts
Wow, what an exciting episode of Desperate Housewives! We got to see into Mike’s subconscious and find out that he did not kill Monique. Surprise surprise, it seems that it was Orson all along. I still think that it’s possible that his mother was behind it all though. I wonder if we’ll ever know who really killed her considering that it looked like Orson fell of the side of a building and died at the end of the episode. I really like how Andrew is finally sticking up for his mother. I’m actually starting to like his character.
And on the topic of Bree, did you notice how she wasn’t really doing much standing, walking, etc. in the episode? I’ve heard that the scenes where Marcia Cross is in bed were actually filmed in her real life bedroom. And how convenient that Bree will be on bed rest or something like that after her fall to accommodate for Marcia Cross’ inability to get to the set. Have you seen pictures of her recently? She’s sooooooo pregnant! The twins are showing.
As for the Scavo family, I really don’t like Tom’s attitude towards Lynette. I only see this backfiring since Lynette is such a strong woman. I’ll doubt she’ll put up with this crap for much longer. And what was the yelling, "I’ll be in back… drinking a BEER!" That guy really has issues. Compensating much?
The whole deal with Susan this episode was pretty intense. How awkward to be at your boyfriend’s dead wife’s funeral. If I were in her situation and overheard another woman talking about my man the way those two women sitting in front of Susan were, I would have decked them. Despite that, couldn’t Susan have found a better place to hide than in the embalming room? They’ve gotta have a bathroom in there somewhere. Ick!
How creepy is Zach Young? I feel so bad for Gabrielle after what he made his lawyer say to her on her birthday no less. While I was watching my husband predicted that if Gabrielle kept seeing the lawyer, he’d mysteriously turn up dead in the next episode. I think this is going to be one of those situations where if Zach can’t have Gaby no one can. Do you think he’ll take advantage of her when she’s asleep on his shoulder? According to the preview for next week, it seems he does!
All in all, great episode. Someone is supposed to die next week? Will it be Orson from falling off the building? Will it be Alma locked in a room and starving to death? Will it be Bree from her fall? Or maybe it will be someone random in a big twist. Can’t wait.
