Episode 322 Recap: what would we do without you?
This week was a great episode! Mike finally proposes to Susan, well actually it’s the other way around. They go out to Susan’s favorite resteraunt exactly the year after Orson hit Mike with his car, so she’s expecting that he will propose. When he doesn’t during the entire dinner, she gets really upset. But when he takes her home they arrive to the trailer from last season where Susan was waiting for Mike to propose to her. As Mike takes out the ring, Susan slips and pops the question. Very exciting, they’re getting married!
But it turns out that Gaby is going to get married on the same day Susan was originally going to get married to Ian. We find out later she even snapped up Susan’s florist and band!!! They have a big fight over it, but they make up drinking wine and eating chocolate. While drunk, they decided it would be a great idea to get married on the same day together. When they wake up in their respective beds the next day, they realize what they did and try to think of ways to get out of it. Mike helps by giving Susan the excuse that he would not allow it. On the other hand, Victor is very upset because he thinks a double marriage would hurt his image as Mayor!!! I think Gaby is starting to have doubts about the wedding.
Edie and Carlos are still together, but Carlos does not want to move in with her, even though Mike is leaving the houre to move in with Susan. Carlos takes on the lease, so Edie convinces the old woman who owns the house that Carlos is a drug addict who can’t be trusted. She cancels the lease and Carlos is evicted! Carlos figures it out right away, but they still make up… But not before he tells her that he is not in love with her. It is then that Edie says that she might be pregnant! It turns out that she isn’t, but both of them seem to hope that she is. In the end, they decide that even if they don’t love each other, they’ll still try to have a baby together. BAD IDEA!
As for the storyline with Lynette and Tom, they are still fighting over firing Rick. For over a week, Lynette wouldn’t talk to Tom, so they have fights over the dinner table in front of the kids, Tom asks a couples counsellor to meet them at the resteraunt. All of this makes Lynette very upset and very uncomfortable. Clearly she still is very much missing Rick. In bed that night, they start fighting again, get into a fight, and Lynette falls off the bed and hits her head. They take her to the hospital where they continue arguing and Tom is convinced that she still has feelings for Rick. But a doctor calls them into his office about the results of Lynette’s CAT scan. It turns out she only has a bump on the head, but the doctor is worried that she might have Lymphoma!!! :-( I hope she’s okay. Felicity Huffman is my favorite character on the show!

Lynette must not die!! Or I will never watch the episode in which she will!
Why doesn’t Gabriela or Edie have Lymphoma instead!?!
I will drop DH alltogether if Lynette dies!
