Eva Longoria Defends Desperate Housewives
I still contend that the second season of Desperate Housewives was fun to watch. I don’t agree with critics who say it didn’t match up to the first season. True I could have lived without some of the storylines, but there was a lot of great drama and comedy last season. I guess Eva Longoria agrees with me.
Oh Eva! We could be such great friends because we have so much in common. Wanna come over, do each other’s hair and talk about how great you are?
Eva Longoria has defended Desperate Housewives, after the show came in for some criticism.
The actress blasted critics who claim the series has lost its original quality, claiming the second season is better than the first was.
At the DVD launch of the second series, she said: "I’m so proud of this DVD, because I think once you see it, you’ll really realize how good season two was, instead of listening to critics, saying: ‘Oh, they’re in a slump. Oh, it wasn’t like last year’.
"When you really look at the DVD, and, specifically, Gabrielle’s storyline and Gabrielle’s arc, there was so much there. This was, definitely, the best work I’ve ever done in my life." Via Digital Spy
