Gabrielle is Jealous of HER???
Last Sunday night’s episode of Desperate Housewives was fantastic! Lots going on, lots of drama, but this new plot for Gabrielle Solis (Eva Longoria) is kind of far fetched to me. How could gorgeous Gabrielle be jealous of this blonde nobody Sister Mary Bernard (played by Melinda Page Hamilton)? They claim that she’s a hot nun, but am I the only one to think that she’s kind of….funny looking? I think they could have found a better looking actress to play someone who would make Gabrielle jealous, come on!
“Carlos is released early from prison with the help of a Catholic charity and surprises Gabrielle at home. They have post-prison sex (the best kind, right?). After the passionate homecoming, Gabrielle finds a bunch of letters to Carlos from Sister Mary Bernard. While Carlos is getting ready for Mass(!), Gabrielle sees blond, fresh-faced and virginal Sister Mary out front and is jealous. She invites Sister Mary over for lunch, and we learn that Sister Mary may well be more like a Twisted Sister. When threatened by Gabrielle to stay away from Carlos, who now wants to turn over a new leaf, Sister Mary’s final words are, “I have God on my side. Bring it on.” I can’t wait to see the outcome of this war, and the battles leading to the end. My money’s on Gabrielle.” from sign on san diego

I agree! I don’t think she is a particularly attractive woman, and from some angles she is almost grotesque looking. I like the general idea though, and her feisty attitude. The upcoming battles ought to be a hoot! LOL

She basically is creepy looking to me. I think she’s after more than just Carlos’s spirituality. I hope Gaby kicks her butt amd gets back her man before its too late!!!

I think Melinda is a real cutie. Gabby was right and should be worried–Melinda is hot. If I had to pick, I’d choose Melinda (not the nun) in a heartbeat.
