Marc Cherry’s Ultimatum to the Desperate Housewives
Who knows if this is true, but it’s an interesting story nonetheless. Maybe I’m sick, but the thought of Teri Hatcher, Felicity Huffman, Marcia Cross and Eva Longoria having a huge cat fight on the set of Desperate Housewives is kind of ridiculous (yet amusing). They’re all grown women who seem fairly mature. Read about Marc Cherry’s ultimatum to the gals:
Marc Cherry, creator of hit TV show ‘Desperate Housewives’, is so eager to quash the constant fighting among the stars that he has warned the actresses to write the series themselves.
According to contactmusic.com, Cherry is fed up with the bickering and has threatened them that he might walk out of the set completely.An insider said: ‘He simply can’t take another second of their constant infighting and grandstanding. He pays them huge amounts of money and feels he deserves professionalism in return. Instead he gets scream-fests and fights about character development.
‘He told them, ‘Put up or shut up. If you think you know the show better than me, prove it. Then maybe we can have some peace.” Via Daily India
