Neal McDonough is Joining Cast of Desperate Housewives

I just read on the Hollywood Reporter that Neil McDonough is moving to Wisteria Lane!! They say that he has joined the cast of Desperate Housewives to play a new white-collar resident who may have a romantic relationship with none other than Edie Britt.
So that means we have two new men added to the cast - Neil McDonough and Gale Harold. I don’t know how much he will be in season 5. The fact that they said his character is romantically linked to Edie Britt, is good news for Nicollette Sheridan fans.
For those of you familiar with McDonough, how do you feel about him joining the cast?

I really hope Edie finds someone to stay with this time. The storylines with Edie and all her men are beginning to bore me, we’ve seen it all before.

if nothing else I guess that gives Nicholette Sheridan some job security. It will be in interesting to see how the 5 year leap works.
