Oscar Style Preview with Desperate Housewives’ Stylist Cate Adair
Last week in New York City, Desperate Housewives’ sylist Cate Adair, talked to a round table of bloggers about styles you might see on the red carpet at the Oscars. I was invited to go, but sadly was not able to attend.
Luckily I have some video footage of the event. In the clip, Cate demonstrates two looks. A beautiful butter yellow Kevan Hall goddess dress and a stunning navy blue satin dress from Rare Vintage. The dresses were accented with gorgeous John Hardy and Platinum Guild jewels. The yellow dress was my favorite and as Cate mentions in the clip, this is a dress you could expect to see Bree wear.
Cate reveals some great behind-the-scenes red carpet secrets and tips for using Febreze on vintage items. I am a Febreze nut and have several bottles in my own home. I use it on all of our drapes, furniture and bed linens. I have never thought of using it on vintage items.
Cate seemed like a delightful person who someday I will have to meet!
