Young Hollywood recently interviewed Brenda Strong, who plays Mary Alice Young on Desperate Housewives. She shows off a beautiful yellow ring that she now has to find a dress to go with. I can completely relate. No, famous jewelry designers do not give me free jewelry, but I’ve bought jewelry before that needed a new outfit to go with it.

The next episode of Desperate Housewives airs this Saturday, January 19th. It’s a re-run of episode 4.2 "Smiles of a Summer Night" which originally aired on October 7, 2007.

Here’s the story plot:

Lynette kicks Tom out of her chemotherapy sessions, Susan is mistaken for a stripper, and Bree attempts to steal a prize-winning pie recipe.

I absolutely loved this episode and just though it was hilarious! Watching Bree try to steal a pie recipe (only on Wisteria Lane) and seeing Susan show up at that party with sexy lingerie on, are the two events that stick out in my head the most when it comes to this episode.

On March 4, 2008, Teri Hatcher will be speaking at a "The Power Within" event in Toronto. The event is being held at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre and it starts at 8:30 am and goes until 5:30 pm.

I was watching John Edwards speech the other day and lo’ and behold, there was James Denton standing right behind him. I got caught up in starring at him and I have absolutely no clue what Edwards said, lol.

Eva Longoria-Parker and Jessica Simpson sure have a lot in common. They are both dating a "Tony" and they both have been labeled as "jinxing a game".

I’m sure you all heard about the Cowboys’ Jessica-shouldn’t-have-been-there fiasco. I’m a big, huge, gigantic Cowboys fan, considering I’m from Austin, Texas, and I had no problem with her being there. I mean heck, she wasn’t at the last game and, much to my dismay, they lost and are not going to the Super Bowl. But enough about football….

Eva Longoria-Parker tells PEOPLE that she’s been in the same boat as Jessica:

"When I first started dating Tony (Parker), I got the same flack, and this was so many years ago that people don’t remember," Longoria told PEOPLE on Saturday. "If he had a bad game, it was my fault, if he got injured, it was my fault, if he had a good game, it wasn’t because of me."

What’s her advice to Jessica? She tells her to just weather it for awhile and eventually, it will go away. She also asks that if people seriously think that a super athlete like Tony Romo is thinking of Jessica Simpson as he is being sacked or about to throw the ball? I should hope not! Good advice Eva.

John Farr, a popular movie guru, names one of Felicity Huffman’s movies "Transamerica" as one of the Best American Movies of the Decade…So Farr.

I haven’t seen this movie. If you’ve seen it, what did you think? Does it deserve this title?

 Eva Longoria-Parker is having to deny these pregnancy rumors all over the place. She told e! online the other day that she blames the Writer’s Strike for the extra pounds and now she’s talking to PEOPLE about it also.

"No pregnancy, not yet," said the actress Saturday during an interview for her new film, Over Her Dead Body, in Santa Monica. "I’ve been cooking and eating, cooking and eating. I keep telling everyone that I’ve gained 10 pounds just being on strike."

She lit the fire of pregnancy rumors even more when she arrived at the movie’s press day in a pink baby blanket.

"I know – If this isn’t going to spawn pregnancy rumors, I don’t know…" the Desperate Housewives star laughed. "I was freezing, so I had to run down to the gift shop, and they didn’t have any wraps. I grabbed this and was like, ‘It’s so soft, but why is it so small?!’ And they said, ‘It’s for a baby.’"

According to the article they are definitely thinking about starting a family and it could be at any day, at any time. That is going to be one beautiful baby and I believe Eva will be a great mother.

Desperate Housewives’ Eva Longoria blames the writer’s strike for the extra pounds she’s gained in the last little while.  There was some speculation that the pounds were baby weight but she insists they’re directly related to junk food.

"I’ve just gained weight from being on strike. My publicist sends me a picture…She’s like, ‘So…they’re saying you’re pregnant, you have a baby bump.’ I’m like, ‘I just finished eating.’ I had no bump. I just ate pasta and Italian, and my pants were too tight, and I totally have a gut…" 

Eva’s so tiny I think it’s crazy for anyone to call her less than perfect.  I wish I had her figure!
