Season Conclusion of Desperate Housewives

Here is the video clip of the shocking (and somewhat disliked by some) season conclusion to Desperate Housewives. There are definitely mixed emotions about the 5 year flash forward. Some thought it was done well and some didn’t like it at all and are guessing and hoping that someone was just dreaming all of that.
I am hoping it was a dream. I didn’t like the fact that Mike wasn’t in the picture at all. I did like seeing Gabby as a mom of twins, but I honestly can’t see her glamed down look flying on the show. The clip with Lynette and Preston stealing the car was funny and believable. As far as Bree being a successful cookbook author…I still have mixed feeling seeing her that way. I was glad that her and Orson were together though.
Any more thoughts on the 5 year flash forward from you?
(On a side note…I was almost done with my season finale recap and my computer crashed. It likes to do that from time to time. I have some of it that was saved, but the rest…well I have to do it ALL over again. Needless to say I was not a happy person last night. The recap will be on its way soon. :D)
looks like the producers of DH wanted to borrow a page out of the LOST handbook…well, they’re on the same network so it’s possible…
i think it’ll be great for the show personally. are gabby’s kids carlos’ too? is mike gone for good (dead?) or is it more temporary (susan using new guy to make him jealous). how did orson get around bree’s condition for getting back together? how is kayla gonna get her revenge now that she’s 5 years older and is probably even more sinister? what is dylan’s fiance like? just because edie isn’t in the flash-foward, does that means she’s truly gone too?
i think everyone’s just pissed off about mike not being there, but i truly doubt he’d be gone for good.

I have mixed feelings about the conclusion..If they bring Mike back I might be ok with it..

so i cried during the whole hostage thing, but then i got SO FREAKIN PISSED OFF THAT SUSAN AND MIKE ARE NO LONGER A FREAKIN PAIR. WTF MAN. im so pissed off. the episode was AMAZING except for that. and another thing? gabrielle’s children (the girl that put on the makeup- in particular) IS SO FREAKIN UGLY AND FAT. THAT IS NOT A CHILD THAT SHE AND CARLOS WOULD MAKE.
I hope it was all a dream… I think that each sequence was either a dream or a nightmare.
NIGHTMARES
Lynette- Her worst fear is being a bad mother.
Gabrielle- Hasn’t she made it clear that she doesn’t want kids ?
Susan- She worries about being a bad wife- reverse of what Karl did to her.
GOOD DREAMS
Bree- She is very successful as a “Martha Stewart”
Katherine- She is just happy for Dylan and the fact that she is still loved
I was very skeptical about the whole thing but after watching the episode, I’m relieved: they did it extremely well in my opinion. I expected to be cheesy and very cliché, which it clearly wasn’t. I loved the conclusion, and the whole episode was intense and funny at the same time. I missed seeing Susan with another person than Mike so I loved that whole twist at the end. The only thing I’m sad about is that Danielle, Julie and Dylan aren’t gonna be in season 5 (apparently)
Carrie, please tell me you didn’t just insult a child. That is disgusting.
OMG! the part where Tom and Lynette talked to the gay couple is very touching. I cried on that part! The last minutes of the show was so intense! the 5years forward, I think that’s a great idea! but then, just like many of the bloggers, I’m so pissed, knowing that Susan is not with Mike anymore! ugh! who’s that man? can’t wait for season 5.
