Brenda Strong as Mary Alice is recapping:
Alma Hodge (played by Valerie Mahaffrey) has decided to leave her husband (Orson!) who apparently is a control freak. As she’s trying to leave she trips and her parrot cage opens and it flies away. Then Orson comes home…
Flash forward to the next day and Jacky from Roseanne playing the part of Carolyn Bigsby (actress Laurie Metcalf) comes in looking for Alma. Orson is there and says she left. The parrot says "Orson, no!" and Orson leads Carolyn to the door. Then he takes the parrot cage empty to the curb…poor parrot! I guess he killed Alma?

It’s raining and Bree and Orson are kissing. Gabrielle meeting with a divorce lawyer…Lynette being driven crazy by Nora and her daughter Kayla. Susan off to see Mike at the hospital. Edie selling the Young’s house.
Today:
Karen McCluskey is telling potential house buyers about the murder that happened in the house. Edie overhears her and kicks her out.
Back at Lynette and Tom’s they’re getting ready to take a Christmas picture and Nora sits on the couch in the picture view. Lynette asks to check Tom’s tie. Lynette puts her foot down and says Nora can’t be in the photo. Lynette tells Nora she doesn’t want her in the picture. Nora tells Kayla that they’re leaving and Tom gets upset. Kayla says it’s ok "I don’t need to be in the picture". Then Lynette says it’s fine, Nora can be in the picture and whispers to Tom that they’ll crop her out. After Lynette sets the timer Nora jumps on top of the boy’s laps with Lynette looking upset. Fun Christmas picture! One question, why not take a second one?
Xiao-Mei is ordering Gabrielle around. She throws a pickle on the floor expecting Gaby to pick it up, then she wants her to rub her feet. Xiao-Mei says Gaby treats her like dirt. Gabrielle asks if she’d rather live with Carlos in a one bedroom apartment. Then Xiao-Mei calls her a bitch. Gabrielle says the second she has the baby she’s sending Xiao-Mei back to china where she’ll be a slave or something. Xiao-Mei is noticeably upset.
Susan is shaving mike. The doctor comes in to tell her that they have people who can do it for her. She says she likes doing it. The doctor says there was no change on the MRI…he doesn’t think Mike will come out of the coma. Poor Susan is sad but still is holding onto hope that he’ll come out of it.
Bree and Orson are eating together. He says he got something from a bakery. Orson takes out a box that looks like a cake. He opens it to reveal a gorgeous ring and asks her to marry him. She’s not sure. Bree says she has bad luck. Orson says he’ll change her luck, and she says yes! Oh no! Bee! Her luck just keeps getting worse!
Ian Kavanaugh had been miserable when his wife Jane got in a horse riding accident and was put in a coma. Jane’s hospital room is across the hall from Mike’s. They became friends. Misery loves company and all that. Ian’s falling in love with Susan. He brings her coffee and is friendly and flirty. Susan says thanks but says she has to get going to meet her girlfriends for lunch and asks if it’s 1:00 yet. Ian says he bought her a watch because he’s noticed she’s always running late. She rushes off after saying thanks.
Bree dressed really fancy wearing gloves meets the ladies for lunch. She asks them to come to a dinner she and Orson are having. She’s looking so happy she’s about to burst. The ladies sense it and ask what the deal is. She whips off her gloves and tells them that Orson and her are engaged. She shows off her ring and tells the women that he’s the most generous man. Gabrielle says, generous, that means he’s good in the sack. Bree says no, actually we’re waiting until we get married. Gabrielle laughs and then says, "Oh, you’re serious?". Bree asks them to act surprised when she tells everyone at the party. Gabrielle says don’t worry I’ll just recreate the look I had when I heard you hadn’t banged him yet.
Tom and Lynette are preparing for Parker’s birthday party. He asks if she told Nora about it. She says no, she doesn’t want her ruining another family gathering. He’s worried she’ll get upset. A jealous Lynette asks if he’s more scared of Nora than her. He says, no baby you scare the hell out of me. Aww how sweet…hehe
Susan is hanging out with Ian in his wife’s room and he asks her out. She’s surprised and throws her ice cream on his comatose wife Jane then covers her with a blanket before he gets back from the bathroom. She says she’s not sure she’s ready. He says he can wait or something. She says she’s starving and they go to raid the blood bank for sugar cookies. As they’re leaving Susan tells the nurse Jane had an accident and might want to give her a sponge bath.
At Parker’s birthday Lynette answers the phone, it’s Nora. She asks if she’s having a party. She says of course not. Nora’s pissed off. She hangs up and Tom asks if she thinks Nora bought it. Lynette says, no, she’ll be over their in 10 minutes. They rush to gather all the party stuff and head over to Gabrielle’s backyard. Meanwhile Edie is telling potential buyers that it’s a quiet neighborhood while the kids run down the street screaming.
Once they get to Gabrielle’s Tom and Lynette realize they forgot the cake. Lynette rushes home and Nora comes in. Although Lynette manages to hide the cake in time, a kid comes out and asks where everyone is wearing a party hat. Nora demands to know where the party is. Lynette refuses to tell her. Then she sees a balloon fly above Gabrielle’s place. She rushes over to get her daughter. Tom runs out not wanting his daughter to have to leave and tells Nora to come in to have cake. Lynette is upset because she doesn’t think that Tom’s not putting her first anymore. Tom goes out and tells Nora he’ll see her later because he has a pinata to hang. Kayla asks if she can go and Nora resists but agrees to leave if there’s a corner piece of cake for her when she comes to get the kid. She leaves and Tom goes out to buy a pinata. Lynette is happy.
Gabrielle rushes into the bedroom calling for Xiao-Mei. She’s nowhere to be found. Gabrielle checks the closet and it’s full of empty hangers but no clothes. She drives over to Carlos’ place and asks if he’s seen her. Then the two of them go to China town to find her. She finds a waitress friend of Xiao-Mei’s. The waitress tells her that she was mean to her. Gabrielle threatens her and says that if she doesn’t help her she’ll tell the health department about what they really use to make moo shu pork. Gabrielle and Carlos leave. Gaby covered in sauce.
Edie is showing the house and opens a closet to find Xiao-Mei.
Orson and Bree are flirting. He wants to have sex, but she still wants to wait.
Susan is at the hospital with Mike and lays down next to him. She tells him about Ian and how he asked her out. She tells him that she’s sorta lonely. She wants to know if it’s ok with him if she goes out with him. She says she wants nothing better for him to wake up and tell her not to go out with him. She cries on his chest, kisses him and tells him she loves him and leaves.
Gabrielle and Carlos are in the car and Gabrielle gets off the phone with Edie. They’re going to pick up Xiao-Mei. Carlos is angry that Gabrielle risked their baby’s life. Gabrielle says that Xiao-Mei has it amazing. She’s going to give birth and then go off and live the American dream while Gabrielle is a single mother. Her dream is dead. Carlos says sorry and Gabrielle rushes off.
Orson is washing dishes that Bree had already washed. She starts to get really turned on while he explains what he uses to clean stuff. They end up in bed. Bree’s wearing a sexy purple bra and panty set. Orson starts to go down on her when she says she doesn’t "do that" because she’s a Republican. He says trust me, I know what I’m doing! Bree seems to have an orgasm as the water in the sink overflows. She rushes to the doctor and describes what happened. The doctor says she had an orgasm. Bree says she’s had them before, but apparently she hadn’t! hehe
At the party for Orson and Bree Carolyn Bigsby shows up. She walks in and confronts Orson. She asks him if Bree knows he killed his wife. He says she left him. Carolyn says yeah, then she dropped off the face of the earth. Carolyn tells Bree to get away from him now. She leaves and Bree rushes into the kitchen upset. Orson comes in and says I’m sorry you had to endure that. Bree’s worried that he’s still married but he says he was granted a divorce on terms of abandonment. Bree asks Orson to let go of her hand that he’s apparently crushing. She walks back into the party and tells everyone that the buffet is open then puts on a fake happy face. Fast forward to the end of the party. Bree throwing out trash in the rain. She’s having doubts.
Lynette sees Tom playing with Kayla, Gabrielle watching Xiao-Mei stuff her face, Susan looking at Mike. At a construction site a body is poking out of the dirt. EEW!
