Some News About Season 5 from Marc Cherry
TV Guide had a small piece about Desperate Housewives and Marc Cherry talks about the 5 year flash forward as well as season 5.
“The flash-forward was my way of hitting the reset button on the show. I felt the story lines had gotten to operatic and complex, and I wanted to go back to the simplicity of Season 1. It’s our way of washing away the soap. Season 5 will open five years down the road, and there’s a big new mystery. It involves several new neighbors, but viewers will be surprised as to who the mystery person is. We’ll have a big mystery star! ”
Sometimes going back to simplicity is a good thing. Do you all trust that Marc Cherry know what he’s doing and will make Desperate Housewives better than ever in season 5?
