SPOILER ALERT: Drea de Matteo is NOT a replacement for Edie and Orson and Bree might be involved in a threesome??
August 27, 2009 by Amy Bartner
I’ve got some good spoilers for you today, and the show’s premiere is only a month away!!
So Drea de Matteo is the matriarch in her new-to-Wisteria Italian family, right? She’s not intended be vixenish or any sort of replacement for Edie, Marc Cherry said.

“Her character is more a replacement for Neal (McDonough) in that she’s … the new mystery,” Cherry told Michael Ausiello of EW.com. Her character, he says, is a “a very loving but tough Italian woman who comes with her husband and her kid. They’re running from something. We understand through her actions in the first couple of episodes that she’s a smart woman who will do what she has to to protect her family.”
A replacement for Crazy Dave??? She’s got some crazy shoes to fill there, but I can’t wait to see it!
Cherry goes on to talk about Bree’s new affair with Karl, and how that affects Orson — mostly that dude has no clue that his wife is cheating on him.
“We’re going to play him just not understanding what’s going on. He finally gets wind of it and it’ll build to a shocking conclusion in our 10th episode,” Cherry said. “We’ve got an interesting cliffhanger involving the threesome.”
Um, I’m sorry, what? Bree involved in a threesome? Karl, I can see. Orson, sure. …but Bree??

I think the “threesome” part should read “love triangle”. It makes more sense that way. Cherry simply used the wrong word!
I don’t think he meant ‘three-way’, Amy… :-O Hahahaha!!
bree …???? in a threesome ?? i’d pay a million dollar to watch this episode ! waaw i have a feeling this sixth season will be rated as the 1st show this season … i just wish there was no five year jump
ABC wouldn’t even allow such a thing. Threesome meaning the triangle (Karl, Bree, Orson) story line will get interesting. Not really a threesome…..lol
You guys just apparently don’t have the sort of mind I do!!
AND, I’m telling you, you don’t become wealthy show creator without realizing what you’re saying! I happen to think it was carefully worded on Marc’s part!!
She has crazy shoes to fill, indeed. Neal was brilliant as “the psycho” last season.
And he definitely said the word THREESOME on purpose. He knows how to keep the viewers at the edge of their seats, and mess with their minds. =]
Well, apparently the info was this spoiler was a bunch of crap. Where DO you get your info? If you’ve watched the new season, you’ll see that this is not even close to what happened. If you don’t know what you’re talking about, don’t publish it.
