Season Conclusion of Desperate Housewives

May 19, 2008 by Julie Bonner

Here is the video clip of the shocking (and somewhat disliked by some) season conclusion to Desperate Housewives. There are definitely mixed emotions about the 5 year flash forward. Some thought it was done well and some didn’t like it at all and are guessing and hoping that someone was just dreaming all of that.

I am hoping it was a dream. I didn’t like the fact that Mike wasn’t in the picture at all. I did like seeing Gabby as a mom of twins, but I honestly can’t see her glamed down look flying on the show. The clip with Lynette and Preston stealing the car was funny and believable. As far as Bree being a successful cookbook author…I still have mixed feeling seeing her that way. I was glad that her and Orson were together though.

Any more thoughts on the 5 year flash forward from you?

(On a side note…I was almost done with my season finale recap and my computer crashed. It likes to do that from time to time. I have some of it that was saved, but the rest…well I have to do it ALL over again. Needless to say I was not a happy person last night. The recap will be on its way soon. :D)

Teri Hatcher on “The View”

May 18, 2008 by Julie Bonner

Teri Hatcher was on “The View” the other day and I have been waiting for the video!! They showed clips of Teri’s performance at “idol Gives back” and talked about why she did it and how terrified she was.

Then they moved on to Desperate Housewives and Teri talked about how fun it was being pregnant again. We also get to see a NEW clip!! It’s the part where Mike finds out that Susan changed their baby’s name from Maynard to Conner. SO funny! I can’t wait to see the finale tonight.

They also talk about Desperate Housewives flash forward but Teri wouldn’t talk about it. She said we just have to watch. Oh, I will Teri!!

Two-Hour Desperate Housewives Season Finale Sneak Peeks

May 14, 2008 by Julie Bonner

Here are some exclusive sneak peeks from the Desperate Housewives 2-Hour Season Final which airs this Sunday night!

In this first sneak peek, the ladies come to see Susan and Mike’s new baby, um, Maynard. My favorite line is “Was he beaten to death because his name was Maynard?” LOL! This is a great clip and watching these ladies discuss names is too funny. Poor Susan, she better speak up about that name because that is just plain mean to name him that. (Side note: I mean no offense to any Maynard’s reading this.) :D

In this next sneak peek, Katherine and Bree know WAY too much about guns and boy are they good with them! I love how they are discussing a menu just like any other housewife would, minus the guns of course.

Clip number three below the cut!

Dana Delaney Talks Desperate Housewives with OK! Magazine

May 14, 2008 by Julie Bonner

OK! Magazine caught up with Dana Delaney after she was leaving a taping of Dancing with the Stars. She gave them the scoop on Desperate Housewives season finale!

She tells them that in the season finale all of Katherine Mayfair’s secrets are revealed and that there is a big twist at the end. And as always, Desperate Housewives is not short on the drama.

There will be several characters not returning. There’s a big death in the episode, so it’s very dramatic, ” she says.

Several characters? I imagine the Scavo boys are included in that.

She also dished on what her and the other DH ladies do for fun on their time off.

Marcia [Cross] and I live near each other, so we see each other more than anybody else,” Dana told OK!, “We all are big charades game players—Felicity [Huffman] is killer at charades. Eva [Longoria] is usually jet setting around the world—it’s hard to pin her down.

Charades? Remember the episode where they all played charades together? That is one of my all time favorite scenes! Who knew they really liked to do that for fun.

Thanks OK! for that great on the spot interview.

Two Hour Season Finale Preview

May 12, 2008 by Julie Bonner

I cant believe this is the last of the new episodes! Desperate Housewives episodes 4×16 and 4×17 are part of a 2-hour season finale that I am sure will keep us hanging, wondering what in the world will happen next season. This is also supposed to be the part where the show fast forwards 5 years. This episode is going to be very very interesting!
