Teri Hatcher on The Oprah Winfrey Show
Yesterday Teri Hatcher was on Oprah wearing a pretty blue and white dress. She talked about the Vanity Fair article and her sexual abuse. Oprah repeatedly commiserated with Terry having been molested as well as a child. Teri said she was abused from age 5 until she was 8 by her uncle. They then talked about the girl who killed herself because of the abuse she endured at the hands of Teri’s uncle. Teri and Oprah both cried a lot.
They also talked about Teri’s book, Burnt Toast : And Other Philosophies of Life. Oprah pointed out parts of the book that she loved especially a story about couscous. Oprah then asked Teri about her love life. Teri talked about not having sex very often with her ex-husband because of the sexual abuse she endured. Then Oprah asked Teri about Ryan Seacrest, the American Idol host who was seen kissing her in the tabloids. Teri said that they went on three dates and the pictures of them kissing were from the last date. They noticed the cameras while kissing and this bothered Ryan. Teri figured he couldn’t handle the pressure and shortly after he dropped her off that night, he called break up. Poor Teri. :-(
They also talked about the George Clooney rumors and Teri said that she wished the rumors had been true because he’s so hot. Hee hee.
Then they talked about plastic surgery. Oprah kept saying that she thought having Botox would make someone a bad actress and Teri didn’t really answer. She avoided the question but did say that she had Botox years before and some collagen injections years before, but assured Oprah that she had not had these procedures done recently. She also said that her boobs were real (and fabulous).
Overall, not the most exciting episode of Oprah I must say. I think they were hoping Teri would talk about more details of the abuse so that the episode would be more dramatic. I don’t think any new information was brought up that was not mentioned in the Vanity Fair article. Oprah must be disappointed. Hee hee.

I Love the title of Terry’s Book. I tried to explain the basis of the title to my Husband. He said “I don’t get it. I thought you liked burnt toast!”

Hatcher looks great but too skinny.
I’ve seen pictures of Oprah’s wrinkled forehead and hocky stick frown lines between the eyes, now her forehead looks frozen. I read that people noses and ears continue to grow but Oprah’s nose seems a wee bit smaller and refined while not pencil sharpened like Jackson noses. Oprah denies any kind of plastic surgery. If true, her makup person needs a big raise. She looks younger than she did 25 years ago. One day she talked about brow lifts and said something like ….well duh I don’t even know what a brow lift is. I thought that a dumb remark for someone so smart.

I love Oprah very much. I’m proud of Oprah. Youa are wonderful woman in the world. But now it is time you fall in love with somebody and if then your life would be tje fantastic. Good wishes,
