When Will You See a New Episode of Desperate Housewives?

Well, here is the latest news on the writer’s strike. Everyone is saying that the end to the writer’s strike is imminent, and that they have forged a tentative 3 year deal. They are holding off on officially ending the strike until the W.G.A. members have all had a chance to vote on their return to work.

The vote is basically a formality and will conclude on Tuesday night, with writers returning back to work on Wednesday. On a side note: do you think the writer’s have been picketing and sitting around eating bon bons for the last three months, or do you think some of the have been doing what they do best….writing?

What is the word on how the writer’s feel about the new contract? Sources are saying that the writers feel it is a huge victory.

Now that the writers are reportedly headed back to work on Wednesday, the TV networks can begin what will probably be a crazy production schedule and try to pump out those new shows as soon as possible.

Okay, so this is great news but you want to know what this means for Desperate Housewives right? This is where the news gets tricky. Some are saying we will see new episodes by the end of March, while others are saying we are looking at 4 to 7 new episodes to air in the April/May time frame.

I’ll keep you updated as I find out more information. Bottom line…our favorite Housewives are coming back and that is some wonderful news!!
