Who is Susan Delfino’s New Man?

Okay, so we all saw the last five minutes of the Season 4 Desperate Housewives finale and we all saw Susan Delfino kissing someone who wasn’t Mike! Argh. I’m still a little bitter about that. 
But anyway, who was that guy she was kissing and will he be back? According to Ausiello over at TVGuide his name is Gale Harold (pictured above) and yes, he will be back in season 5.
Now I have nothing against this guy personally but I didn’t like seeing him kiss Susan! Maybe he will grow on me in season 5. I guess I’ll give him a chance.

I did not like the look at five years hence, particularly seeing Susan kissing someone else. If this is the wave of next season, count me out!
why did they cast a guy who looks EXACTLY like adam?

Gale Harold is a fine actor not to mention an extremely beautiful one! I’m so glad he’ll be in DH next season! I can’t wait to see his character developed!

I’d given up on DH by midway through S2, but if Gale Harold is going to be in it, I’ll be back glued to the set.
Not only is he hot, he’s an extremely talented actor - if you haven’t seen any of his indy flicks you’re missing out.

and look at this week’s ratings on DH. Gale Harold will bring tons of viewers to DH since he has an enormous following. Those who have never watched DH will start to watch it just to see Gale.
What can I say, we love the man. We come from all over the world to go see him in theater and whatever we can.
If they give him a good part in DH those of you who do not know him will love him. I Promise.
I agree with Wren, Mr. Harold’s done some good indy film work - always interesting. One of my husband’s favorite films is “The Unseen” in which Mr. Harold plays a mean (yet somehow strangely sensitive) redneck. Hey, I live in KY - I’ve seen redneck, & he had “redneck” scarily down pat! I gave up on DH the first season, but I am certainly intrigued enough by Gale Harold to give it another look.
I also didn’t like him kissing Susan… I much more prefered him kissing Justin! lol

Wow - I haven’t watched DH in a while, but if Gale Harold is on the show, I’m their new biggest fan! He’s the most underestimated actor in the business, and I’m thrilled he’s coming back to TV!
Omg - I never thought in a million years I’d watch DH. But I’ll watch anything if Gale is playing in it. Anything. Haha.

I am another that never really watched DH, but now I will be watching it for sure. Gale is the best actor, so hot and if anyone can bring sexy to DH this is the man. I would love to have him on something regular, I miss Gale so much. LOL, I am a QAF fan, could you tell?
I’ve always been a devoted DH fan since day one and I love the Mike character, but if Gale is going to be on the show…I’ll watch each episode twice just to see his beautiful and talented face. Alas, we will never see anything more perfect than the Brian Kinney character, especially with his Justin, but I’ll take Gale in any character he plays.
Oh Lord, Gale looks nothing like Nathan, other than a vague, vvvvvvvvvague resemblance due to the hair and a little around the eyes. I can’t believe anyone could confuse the two. Gale is a wonderful and unique actor, very sexy too, and if he’s given a great role and lines to match he’ll run with em and steal the show. I hope DH fans give him a chance, nothing wrong with the actor who plays Mike but comparing those two is like comparing an exotic rare jewel(Gale) with a cubic zirconia, no offense.
I’ve been away from Desperate Housewives for *years* but would never miss a single show featuring Gale Harold. I’m back to stay, as long as he is!
Gale’s mother, sibs, aunts, and cousins keep on posting re: how great he is and how they will now become fans of the show.
However, if Mike Delfino is gone, he leaves a void that’s difficult to fill by this Gale person or anyone else.
NoBull - too bad your name isn’t descriptive of your post. I know a lot of the people voicing support for Gale here and I assure you, none of us is related to him. We’re loyal fans who follow his career.
Gale’s fan base is legion - we show up en masse wherever he works or appears. We track down bootlegs of his unreleased movies, we fly all over the world to see him in person and we’ve overwhelmed more than one forum for a show he was on, no matter how briefly.
We’ve been fairly low key here, but wait until next season - GALE FORCE will be in full-on fan mode, and it will be amazing. We’re extremely loyal and self-organizing, and given the shocked reactions when we show up in a new venue, Gale may actually boast the most active fan base of any TV actor. Apparently, no one else has this kind of following, no matter how well known they are, because no one seems to know what to do when we show up.
We’ve been mentioned in news articles that marvel at such an active fan base for a guy who’s not really mainstream. His fans treat him more like a rock star than an actor - much to his chagrin. He’s very shy and gets a little overwhelmed with all the attention, not to mention the pressure he often feels from such intense followers, but he more than deserves the accolades. He’s not just another actor - Gale is special.
As a group, we do everything we can to support his work, and we do it with no encouragement or even appreciation from him. By next season, there will be fan sites re-worked, new mailgroups formed and DH will have a whole new level of intense attention on the web, at least from us. We go to the nth degree to promote any show or movie he’s in, and we buy lots of merchandise, dvds, and other things to benefit a show that treats him well.
A smart production company could really build on our base if they recognize what they have in him. We’re just waiting for someone to give us a place to focus our energy. We thought Vanished might be it, but they didn’t know what a gift they had until they had done something really stupid and dirty. They’re probably still reeling from the fan revolt that followed. Hopefully, DH has smarter people in charge, and we’ll all have a wonderful Fall season to look forward to.
It’s Gale Harold back on my TV again. I don’t really care if he’s kissing Susan or not. It’s Gale, and he’s back. That’s more than enough for me.
When was the 2 hour finale? We watch DHW all the time, but somehow missed the final episode.
When was it on, and is there some way we can still view it?

I LOVE GALE!!!!!! Just when I thought I could not love a show more they go and cast Gale. If Susan and Mike have to break up, at least she gets to hook up with Gale. YUMMY! I miss Brian and Justin and the whole QAF gang.

Well, hey pat, grammy and others…I finaly found this site and thought I would add my views on Gale!…Great actor, great that he will be back on TV, and HOT, HOT, HOT!…think that covers it all, and I agree, the TV bosses of DH better realise what a great ASSet Gale will be to the show and don’t decide to be stupid like the bosses of Vanished-(which I don’t even watch ) BUT I WILL BE NOW- YOU BETYA!
Poor Gale will be even more hounded by fangirls now…never mind Gale…I’ll protect you:) If ony? hah!

they can get rid of mike Susan and Mike belong together> I just watched it last night i had it on my DVR and I am still upset about it. I don’t care how cute this new guy is he is not mike they belong together.
I’m a huge Gale fan, and I’m so happy and delirious he’s back on TV again. He’s definitely one of the most underestimated actors out there. He deserves all the praises, fame and glory that’s coming his way. I would watch him read a phone book, I would even watch him watch paint dry, he’s that good!
I stopped watching DH regularly after season 2. I was so bored at the whole Susan and Mike on and off relationship thing, and I hope Gale’s character will spice thins up on the show. Gale fans already know what the man is capable of doing, I just hope DH knows what a gold mine they hit, and will give him great storylines which will show the whole world what he’s made of.
I am going to watch if Gale Harold is on HUBBA HUBBA I never watched the show and now I will be glued to the set!!! he is one HOT man!
I dont like this Gale guy at all- I dont even think he is a good actor and there isnt a chance that he will take over from Mike - he aint good enough to kiss his shoes!
