But not even his loyalty to the show would see him wanting to live in the real-life version of Wisteria Lane being built in Melbourne’s Caroline Springs.
“I think that maybe could be seen as slightly obsessive,” Metcalfe laughed during an interview from Los Angeles.

“(But) hey, I am not really passing any judgments.”

A tour of Melbourne’s Wisteria Lane is not on his schedule during his visit to Australia this month, but Metcalfe plans to see plenty, including going to the beach and fitting in some golf and poker.

He will be in Melbourne on February 18 and Sydney on February 25 to attend D&D Balls.

But the single star, who will be accompanied by a “buddy”, said he would not necessarily be looking for love on the trip.

“It is not really my main objective, but who knows?” he said.

“I like a girl that is grounded. Living in LA, sometimes that can be a little difficult to find.”

He said he wanted a driven, honest girl with good values and “a bit of a wild side”.
